• Managing IT across 25+ offices worldwide creates complexity.
• Consistent, up-to-date, and connected documentation is critical.

The solution:

• Three data connectors were used to record the IT landscape.
• Data was linked through IP addresses or hostnames to identify duplicates.
• Main site IT data was primarily obtained via the vSphere virtualization platform.
• Data was enriched with communication info from Darktrace and network asset details from PRTG.
• Darktrace and PRTG provided valuable IT infrastructure data from subsidiaries.
• IT asset data was linked to responsibilities from a CSV file.
